Ensemble Brass Academy Alicante

The ensemble “Brass Academy Alicante” was created in September 2008. Working in parallel with the pedagogical activities of the Brass Academy Alicante, the ensemble to performs quality works of diverse periods and styles, creating a known repertoire to the students of the capable technical level. Currently the group consists of 6 trumpets, 5 horns, 3 trombones, a bass trombone, an euphonium and 2 tubas. The ensemble is capable of drawing on other students at the Academy to expand its numbers, when needed.
The ensemble director is Rudi Korp, professor of trumpet at the Brass Academy.

The Ensemble has had performances in Callosa de Segura, Torrevieja, Orihuela, Murcia, Cox, Villena, Calpe, Benissa, Alicante ADDA Auditorium,Villajoyosa, Altea Palau, Barcelona, Madrid, and the Schagerl Festival in Austria.
